Michael’s Missive October 25

First Pres Community –

Thank God Jesus saves…because I thought all of my documents were deleted!

Trying to free up space on my tablet, I deleted most of my documents not knowing I was deleting them from the cloud also.  That I discovered when I got on my work desktop Monday morning.  I, not so happily, began recreating everything I had been working on.  Tuesday morning though, for some reason, I checked the recycle bin on my desktop.  I had emptied it on my tablet, but for whatever reason (I’m claiming God’s grace) there were all 2000 documents.  I have been restored!  Thanks be to God!  “Jesus saves” has taken on a whole new meaning! (Plus God led with a ”pillar of cloud”, spoke from a cloud, and Jesus will come on the clouds!!)

Now on with everything else…

First, a big THANK YOU to all who participated in and provided for our Mission Weekend.  It blesses this pastor’s heart when parishioners engage in mission.  God bless you all!

Second, THANK YOU to all who have turned in a 2018 pledge card.  These are vital for your discipleship and for Session acting wisely in planning ahead.  If you haven’t yet, cards can still be dropped off or mailed in anytime.  God bless all of you also!
