12 week WEIGHT LOSS SUPPORT GROUP...beginning this Saturday, January 28th and continuing until April 21st, you can participate in a weight loss challenge support group. The group will meet on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m.—10:45 a.m. here at the church. Call Rick Ryberg at 816-797-5389 if you are interested in participating.

Join us this Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM—6:00 PM for our BINGO & BAKE-OFF! Bingo and other games start at 4:00 PM. Light dinner served at 5:30 PM. Bring your bake-off entrees for judging by4:30 PM; cakes, pies & cookies/bars are our 3 categories. No charge for this sure-to-delight event, but donations are always appreciated.

This Sunday is the last Sunday is the last day to take orders for our Super Sub Sandwiches. Order your freshly made sub sandwiches for Super Bowl Sunday, February 5th, and help our senior high youth get to Montreat, North Carolina this summer!

February 5th is Super Bowl Sunday... In the past we’ve brought soup (and called it “Souper Bowl Sunday”) to vote on the team we’d like to win (and then donated items to the local food pantry). However as Lee’s Summit Social Services currently have lots of soup, we’re asking for any food items that contain the letters S-U-P-E-R. We’ll have the “football field” set up in the lobby Sunday the 5th so you can place your food items to cheer on your team. For suggested foods see the insert in the friendship pads.

Food Donations...this year we will continue our support of Lee's Summit families. 

• This Sunday will be "Anything Goes II." Bring any canned goods and staple food items. It's your choice.

To all men in the church...The first “Men’s Fellowship Breakfast” will be held on Saturday morning February 11th (7:30 AM in the fellowship hall of the church). This first meeting will be an organizational meeting to plan ways of “stepping up as men” for the church. This is an exciting time in our church.
